[Music] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] you [Music] in a world full of chaos we are your outlet to voice your frustrations the world's first interactive podcast where the audience can become a guest of the show presenting your hosts devon g ewert and patrick martin hello and welcome back it is officially friday and it is april 2nd this is uh fu podcast thank you for joining uh series 1 episode 13. well thanks uh for having me well thank you sir i think we need our radio and this is the video this is a good friday oh is it good friday yes it is i found that out when my credit union was closed yeah isn't that like one of those things the worst way to find out yep there's my yep oh geez i wouldn't be able to start the show without it yep three times yep yep yep so uh so how are things other than the fact that the banks are closed um i had to deal with uh some issues earlier yeah yeah did you take some kneecaps out no no okay let's just say that i didn't feel like taking any kneecaps out well that's good i wanted to just lay down oh gotcha yeah those kind of issues yeah i thought there were people related issues there could be people related issues like the people that i saw in walmart oh yeah what happened to walmart shut your [ __ ] kid up before i slap him into the next aisle oh man so uh just so you all know i was messing around with patrick earlier and i got that song stuck in his head so for the last two hours we've been going back and forth making that jingle um hey hey hey oh yeah friday yeah that red truck that red truck that cut me off on swisher oh yeah what happened with that guy i was going nah hey you're an [ __ ] you're an [ __ ] in a red truck i see that you're a hispanic and you'll get away with hitting me because you have no insurance hey we cater to y'all oh that's some messed up [ __ ] you're illegal i'm sure you are okay you think they hopped the wall and i don't know crossed over i have no speaking of that did you see the latest video footage of that were they uh two older gentlemen dropped off a uh too young basically infants one was like basically an infant the other one's a little bit older across the wall and then yeah i did see something like that on uh on facebook yeah so that's on the news yeah the center news speaking of it they saved them though right they did that's good and of course we have no idea what they did with those guys i mean you gotta arrest the people like if it was like somebody had a good point if it was the other way around if like we dropped a baby off over there those people would be arrested for you know child endangerment you know what i'm saying so it's like oh yeah why are we not going after these people right yeah you're absolutely correct there devon thank you sir thank you thank you son devon so in uh local news speaking of news tesla factory in austin is looking to hire 10 000 people and here's the kicker oh i might move to austin you don't have to have a degree hell no i'm not going to move to austin really yeah really no degree no degree why not apparently i guess they're hurt they're hurting for that many uh people that they uh they put a post out basically saying that you don't have to have a degree in order to uh work for tesla doesn't that kind of concern you a little bit though if you're driving a tesla and you know that some kid that could be flipping burgers is now working at tesla and putting together you know or working the rockets and all that yeah rockets no wonder the last three or four had blocked well you wouldn't see me on one of those damn rockets somebody without a uh degree well speaking of rockets uh did you hear their they got the cast and crew that they're gonna use i guess or the crew i should say the casting crew i know like i got casual what the hell are you thinking about casting crew for casting crew for because we have a rocket going to [ __ ] mars because we have a shoot tomorrow oh so that fantastic screws yeah it's stuck in my head oh okay cause we gotta go to course of canter versa kenner always comes up in our podcast yep here's another uh podcast of course cantor yeah yeah so well what else is going on with the tesla um their stock has been going through the roof and uh speaking of which they're about to release the richest people in the world and they think that uh elon because of the stock and everything else uh he's gonna be up there a lot higher than he was before so higher than basis i don't think bezos money because you know he's one of the few that made a killing during a pandemic yeah yeah no pun intended um sorry sorry i was trying not to be uh you know no no no no oh jesus sorry guys you're gonna hear this about 18 times during the podcast i'm apologizing i know sorry dude you did it all right you know what it is it's because we need a good opening season opening season for what oh baseball baseball that's where the damn song got stuck in my head oh yeah because we were talking about baseball earlier oh yeah remember you showed up in the lineup oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and that's when the song kind of got stuck in my head so i'm like picturing where they are in the field and i'm like that's the first song that came to my head right right right and we're literally looking at this list going dude we recognized two people i don't even recognize yeah i did recognize two people gallo and uh trevino that's it that's it who the hell is the rest of these other people so so yeah it's gonna be interesting isn't monday i think their first actual game or is that still i thought it was tonight i don't know i can't keep or today i don't know or yesterday all i know it was yesterday because remember i was talking to you about the um yeah they played the royals right yeah they play can uh they play kansas city and um our starting pitcher didn't even make it through uh second inning second inning yeah i mean if i'm wrong somebody tell me but because when i read that right that he didn't even make it through the second inning and they end up using seven pitchers all the way through the whole game hell they should have just had nine pitchers and just use one per freaking inning how many pitchers is on the staff well i mean starters i think you have like five or six maybe five or six starters and then you know in the bullpen relief pitchers you have i don't know maybe who knows maybe nine six seven i was like are they just like randomly grabbing people hey you look like you can throw a ball here come on here and picture yeah kind of like kind of like jose canseco that one time hey man you look like you can throw come on yeah come on yeah you know after i think that was the same game that he uh if anybody remembers that uh he was going for a uh catch and he misses it bounces off his head and goes into the stands and that's a home run i missed it well that was like a long time ago was i even born yet yeah i think there was like i don't know in 90s or yeah i remember something like that uh 80s no 90s because i think that um he played for rangers no he played for a's oh yeah i think he played for the a's when jim giambi and uh matt damon matt damon playing baseball no no no no johnny um money dip no johnny damon oh okay when they played that one year when john um bro you might as well be speaking another language because uh when yeah when uh billy bean owned uh on the uh a's so you know yeah and when when they won 20 straight games and they were the only major league uh uh major league team that they won well speaking of baseball if you watch moneyball you i know i still need to see that freaking movie oh yeah i've seen clips uh you know that are badass from that movie but i haven't seen the whole thing oh yeah they are i mean uh in fact one of them we actually used in business yeah i mean brad pitt was good in that movie so yeah you know and well maybe in our downtime in between takes i watch or or tomorrow night when i'm like yeah trying to decompress after uh what standing on our feet for 18 hours or however long maybe yeah but uh speaking of baseball i'm gonna skip around because it kind of relates to what you're talking about the all-star game is yanked from georgia in response to the voting laws in georgia um and i believe the draft or something is also um they pulled that from georgia as well yeah that's what i heard too because they're uh voting yeah and it's like what's going on with that president or whatever it's called i have no idea what's going on in georgia all i know is like ceos apple uh coca-cola um all these ceos are are like basically uh stepping forward you know and they're putting themselves out there and their company basically saying we don't agree with this and well we're going to do something about it you know because they can affect them monetarily um you know affect the government in georgia right and make him really you know changes his ways you know kind of thing yeah i thought i thought the cancel uh culture canceled coke did they cancel coke yeah i think they canceled coke they canceled nike they cancelled uh but did they cancel pepsi did they cancel pepsi because they came out with this stupid marshmallow drink i was just gonna talk about that that was my segue yes well gotta talk about the peeps yeah peeps pepsi that was offensive to the peeps was it why [ __ ] it the cancel culture yeah well now apparently they're there's like a peeps craze now they're gonna make peeps flavored everything so uh god i'm any one of you people out there that create vodka if you want to make some peeps vodka i will be uh i'll test it out for you i'll give you uh a devon scale devin skill a d scale d skill one to ten zero zero point zero zero in a world where devin drinks pink drinks he gives all zeroes all honesty i like i hate peeps so i would probably give them all zeroes yeah well i can tell there's a lot of peeps i don't like either yeah i know me too i'm talking about the peeps online hell yeah peeps of the government yep peeps and yeah yeah i don't i just don't speaking in uh local news and uh peeps colin county sheriff um released seven officers um because of the marvin scott in custody death so here we are again you know with the seven officers that have been not on administrative leave terminated okay so i want to say it again yeah so there's seven openings now in collin county that's correct i wonder if you have to have a high school degree like tesla just a high school degree high school degree yeah no college just a high school degree that's it oh man but it's it's it's like between that and all the shootings it's just like you can't even keep up there's every single day there's something going on somewhere yep and i don't know if it's it's there's more of it going on or that there's just so many cell phones and there's so many people you know that are able to actually be video vigilantes and video record you know all the events and stuff that are going on right so what do you think do you think there's more people it's more prevalent or there's just happens to me but there's more cell phones and people are recording it more it's just more cell phones people recording i mean you know and then they try to monetize off of it just like that dude in alder you know what i've that i haven't heard anything look at their kayla kayla says college is required in every department except for allen and frisco and where did this happen colin county oh wait i believe that is one county and i believe it was allen police seven allen police officers so was it allen please or is it with the police officers or detention i think it was detention uh seven detention officers yeah seven yeah detention officers yeah that's what i mean that's what i thought is that what you thought that's what i thought i want to pull it up but you know how damn wfaa is they're gonna play like 18 commercials oh yeah i know wfa if you're listening you need to fix your freaking site no no no no yeah just play that [ __ ] because of your ads yes look out look out in uh later in 2021 for fu album so i just uh read an update on your article seven detention officers and an eighth officer resigned while under the investigation oh yeah well if the dude uh resign uh-huh during an investigation he's guilty yep yes he's guilty yeah that's i mean that's one you might as well put a target on your back oh yeah yep put a target on your back i've had one on my back before it's not a good feeling but hey it's okay i don't care you know so but yeah the um they're still not releasing the names of the seven officers um and they're not releasing the uh eighth officer who resigned so they're kind of still being hush hush i guess while the investigation is still pending so it's going to be interesting because they still haven't released any of the footage because they do have footage inside of the detention center i feel weird saying detention center it makes me feel like i'm in high school when i got detention all the time no you did not get did you know i wasn't angel no i was horrible [ __ ] that was horrible i can remember a couple of times that i got detention in high school yeah mm-hmm what happened you know i really can't remember well you just said you could remember when you had no i remember i had detention oh okay i just can't remember what i did oh yeah i think i called uh i think i called the uh the principal they're an [ __ ] i think yeah that's a good way to get detention no i got i got two swats i is that back when they actually swatted you in school right i got two swats totally didn't hurt he gave me one more then i turned around and looked down and said you're an [ __ ] that's what i did wow kayla says uh alan was where she was gonna go allen cops are huge steroid guys very tough agility tests ones that fail agility tests for peace officer they go to detention officer oh so the kind of like a downgrade yeah so if you suck you like you get a desk job but in this situation you go to the detention center right you got it right i know by the way um never mind yeah you can hold that until later yeah um so there's some good news and then there's uh some bad news within the same all in the same headline texas dog adopted after 419 days in a shelter returned after one day because the dog was too much work why even take the dog in the first damn place that's the whole reason why i pulled the story because i'm like you literally wasted everybody's time you know yeah that's frustrating juice because you know i just recently uh you know rescued a husky and they literally told me like she's aggressive she's not good around people she's not good around animals and so i was kind of like do i really want to take this you know challenge on and of course i ended up doing it and now she's great around other dogs she's great around people even though she's uh maybe they were wrong i think they were but i think it's all in because she was okay even the first time she was here after the no she wasn't the first oh that's when i went i went to bed early my first experience with her like literally before she even got in the house she tried to bite me oh really yeah oh yeah i didn't know that yeah yeah so like literally i went to peters and i was like whoa i'm like oh this is going to be a fun uh where is she now she's at my parents house oh yeah that's right and it's so weird too like i know i'm looking i'm doing the laundry and i'm like where is she it's so weird that she's not here um yeah cuz she's usually like our shadows like wherever we go anything we do she's right beside us especially when it comes to the laundry room she's like i don't know what it is about the laundry room in the garage she's just always there she's all yeah so i was trying to do laundry and i'm like looking around i'm like oh she's not like getting in the freaking laundry when i'm trying to put the laundry away right right right i think she would have been okay down there down at the onset you talk about yeah i think she would have been all right i mean all we had to do is probably just do whatever we can where she didn't hell all the time yeah i mean as long as she can see me the reason why she howls is either a she's hungry or thirsty or nine times out of ten it's because she wants to go on a walk or she just wants attention attention right yes like most females do like most females right she just does it a little more creative and more constructive yeah at least she doesn't do it my uh one of my buddies growing up his dog used to take the food bowl and drop it on your foot give me some food [ __ ] dude i'm talking like this was a five pound like one of those big thick metal bowls yeah they would drop it on your toe and damn near crush your toes right jesus yeah uh okay but yeah i almost wanted to abduct adopt this dog just because you know 419 days on a shelter and yeah finally finally gets a home and then they're like nap too much work right lazy ass people yeah yeah true true true true yeah so what else is going on oh yeah there's a police officer killed in a vehicle attack on u.s capital when is that gonna end yeah what's going on with the capitals and all this [ __ ] that's going on all i know is it's bud did you hear that they uh think there's gonna be an outside threat now but what for the on the capitol so you know this was a it obviously a car internal they're they're saying there's going to be like some kind of outside imminent possibility so i don't know who put that out fbi cia homeland one of the alphabets i just call them all alphabets cia i wonder if we're going to have something else on the 20th anniversary 20th anniversary what really yes the 20th anniversary of 9 11. oh [ __ ] is that really oh my god 20 freaking years i can't believe it's been 20 years i know 20 years 20 years wow man yep 20 years damn do you remember where you were in 911 yes i remember where i was what were you doing and where were you i was sleeping i was sleeping and then i heard my mother called and she said hey pat uh sitting inside like that she said hey pat uh hi hi yeah i said hey uh a uh airplane hit the world trade center great mom okay bye click she calls me again hi uh another airplane hit the other world trade center what oh [ __ ] so i went ahead and you know i went ahead and uh went out to work and all that i've never seen anything like it and everybody everybody landing i mean i mean i was playing after playing at the plane after playing because when i was driving out when i was driving out to dfw you know it was really freaky quiet yeah i remember that yeah and so you know after that i just you know i did what i had to do stayed on the clock for about three days and you know i had to hear [ __ ] from the ex you know that's a i just thought of something that's a good point of how fast the government and everything reacted to when that happened as far as grounding every single airplane in the air you remember like literally to your point like how eerie it was and you don't really realize it until that day when there was no planes it was just like well i think i think what i think that um once they figured out that everything you know almost every plane there was a possibility that it could have been hijacked right every freaking plane that you know they just started shutting down their airspace and everything at the order of uh you know 40 43 and so yeah i mean they thought that a continental plot plot a continental flight was another united flight another american and uh a delta and the one in pennsylvania you know um the uh cleveland center they tried to you know get with 93 united 93 and all that yeah it just i think so where i was trying to go with that that um is the fact that look how quickly they reacted and look how quickly they all the planes were grounded is where i was going with that and the fact that look at their response to the covid and look at the response like how that's been you know what i mean right yeah how many people died 911 look at how many people have died in covid right that's where i was going with that whole point well yeah i agree i mean it's it's just i mean everybody was asking is this real world or is this a drill right and every and i just kept hearing everybody say this is real world real world you know and all that and well because it was so surreal like it just yeah yeah so i and and then we watched you know we watched it on the tv that you know uh the pentagon got hit and then with uh i believe uh 77 american 77 i think and um and then 93 went down um do i believe that the passengers did what they could to apprehend and to apprehend and take over the plane yeah i believe that but do you know because the reports were coming out that you know one of our broader jets shot it down well after looking at the debris that happened over pennsylvania i didn't see a single landing i didn't see a single tail fin i didn't see the signatures you know the the rotary blades or whatever that are made out of titanium that don't melt and the fan blades yeah the fan blades yeah yeah that don't melt in jet fuel which is a signature of almost every airplane crash in history and then there was no till finn which was not their present in pennsylvania um yeah like there was a lot of missing elements um which really it's questionable what what really happened at that that particular place well dad uh dad dad always thought that after i mean when that happened dad always thought that uh it hit the hit the ground so hard that it just disintegrated yeah they've already done tests on that so yeah titanium doesn't burn doesn't melt that's why they use it where they use it i'm not going to comment anymore more on that i'm just saying well yeah i know that joel's not on here because he's got an actual uh engineering background he could uh i mean yeah but that was in the airframe uh that was an airframe and um he was you know he was an ap mechanic and all that and he was just pretty much taking you know taking a guess and and all that yeah hold on probably placement he's drinking dr pepper y'all 23 flavors of deliciousness okay i did my product placement oh by the way they don't sponsor us you're product placing somebody that ain't even paying for the product well that's okay every single dr pepper you should and then you'll be like damn we owed them for like 1500 broadcasts yeah a million per broadcast right but um yeah so you mentioned where you were um i remember that i actually was at home because uh my uncle had just passed away a few days before and i had to fly home to take some finals and um i remember getting a phone call from one of my friends in missouri freaking out and they're like oh my god a plane hit the you know world trade center and i was like well what channel do i turn it on and she's like all of them i go what do you mean all of them she goes pick a channel she goes it's on every single channel every network i was like what and then as soon as she said that i was like okay this is serious and then you know of course i turned the tv on and then i saw the second plane hit and then i had all sudden my phone just like lit up because all my friends knew that i was flying to new york that day so they just automatically thought that since i was flying to new york that i was one of the ones on one of those planes luckily obviously i'm not and i wasn't so yeah i had a lot of people freaking out calling me and i had one of my friends that lived a couple miles away she was like they were like come over to our house like stay with us because we know you're not at home and you know and all this other stuff so it was like it was just a crazy crazy day my parents weren't there like uh luckily a few of my friends lived close so they kind of like we just sat and just watched and just everything was like in disbelief oh yeah i know i know it was like i mean we were under we were well and we actually were we were under attack yeah on our own uh kayla would know about titanium because of her industry she says it can mold and take different shape in heat and if it's heated up to extreme temps it becomes brittle yes you are correct but it doesn't melt is my point it does become brittle and it can extreme heat but it doesn't melt and it's still that amount that they use in those fan blades um yeah it's gonna be really freaking hot and really impossible to melt with a standard fire even with jet fuel just saying we can test it no i don't want to test it tell your uh people bring some of that titanium we're gonna hit it with a bunch of tests yeah we'll put it in a fire pit yeah we got a fire pit out back we'll just throw it in there and then we could be like we could be like raymond and just throw throw gas on it man yeah man this thing going this is [ __ ] you know yeah so but how did we get on 9 11 because you just brought up your like 20 year anniversary oh yeah and i thought it was going to relate to one of our stories and that's what we need for a loop well sorry you're all good my bad my bad it's all good oh yeah we started talking about the capitol yeah you started talking about the police officer uh killed the capital then he said squirrel and then 911. i didn't say squirrel why you did a squirrel i did yeah oh yeah 9 11. yeah 9 11. that that was your squirrel oh that was oh okay all right gotcha all right so the chauvin trowel hey look my camera no just kidding all right the chauvin trial did i have that thing open yeah this guy charvin is uh nailing the coffin yep yeah yeah even his even his uh uh even his sergeant and the chief came back and said he shouldn't have been doing it damn that's all i have to say you know what i applaud them because as much as there's a brotherhood of blue and they back each other and support each other no matter what i'm glad that there is a fine line between what is wrong and what's right and they are actually doing what is right right you know what i mean oh yeah i give them props and give them kudos for standing up and for doing the right thing i mean i wish i hoped that more you know offices i hope that the freaking allen police you know what i mean kudos for them for firing every one of those guys don't tolerate it's enough is enough and the dallas police well the dallas police that's a whole another yup can of [ __ ] that's a whole different that's a whole different story man yeah they are they might as well clean house no offense to my buddies at work there from the top to the bottom right right that is one corrupt corrupt corrupt speaking of you you heard about that one guy that was hired dallas pd uh hitman right no i didn't hear about that one oh man he uh apparently two was involved in two murders some lady oh oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah they found like one of them i think of the trinity river or something like that it's like oh they found her about trinity yeah they found one of the bodies and i think there's a bunch of bodies in trinity river trinity river it might as well be 90 dead bodies yeah i mean there i bet you there's there's tons of them at the bottom of the river yeah it's uh people that aren't from texas trinity river is this kind of nasty ass river that yeah it runs along a lot of major thoroughfares so it's been known for uh being like a body dump where uh they found s got hundreds of bodies in that um in that river um and i think in fort worth they tried at one point to revitalize it and try to clean it and cut off certain i think was panther creek or something like that yeah yeah they're they're trying to they're trying to insane things they're trying to are they doing yeah lock it off dig it out yeah get all the bodies out uh yeah ron kirk was there uh-huh yeah he uh they approved something like uh almost like what san francisco has like a little boardwalk thing you know what i'm saying oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and i like the obvious thing has the houston boardwalk uh destin has the boardwalk like pretty much almost all beach places have like a boardwalk type of thing yeah but we have no beaches around here so what the hell we got [ __ ] yeah not beaches right right so i think that uh pretty much sums up our uh us news right so i really only have uh two things in uh the world news it's gonna be a slow night tonight because we gotta pack and get ready for uh this film we have tomorrow yeah do you wanna talk about it you want me to talk about it can we talk about it can we talk about what it is where what yeah we can talk about what it is and but not the pr not the premise of the story i don't want to test my like i don't i i just i mean it's like when i was it it's like when i was with tom at uh direct focus things yeah man don't get up there until that's what this is that's true you know what don't you know that that when you told me about that i was like that was brilliant because it reminded me of something that i did when i was in college i did something almost identical so we had to do this big huge project and it was like literally was 75 percent of our grades it was a huge project and so i started working on it in class and uh teacher kept telling me oh you can't do this you can't do that so you know what i did i took all of this materials and i took them all home i started working on it at home but then i would work on some of the pieces in the class so basically long story short he said i couldn't drill through glass without breaking it right and i was like okay bet don't tell me ever tell me i can't do something because i'm gonna prove to you i can so anyway that's you devon it's a long story short halo knows that too long story short uh it came to the day that we had to unveil it so i i showed up with my truck i had a huge like tarp over it this thing was seven feet tall yeah no [ __ ] taller than me it was taller than me too okay so i uh i throw up it's taller than me i show up to it and of course i got a whole crowd around me because it's like it showing up in the back of a truck we gotta back it into the class gotta offload it let's mind you it's still tarped and everything then i unveil it oh actually no before i unveil it i plug it in and um they're like you gotta have a wait your sculpture has a plug i was like yeah you'll see here in a minute so i plug it in or whatever and then i uncover it it was a seven foot tall wine uh rack with the wine bottle that poured uh wine because i used food dye um down this intricate uh wine bottle holder type thing um and yeah my teacher was just like jaw hit the ground because he had no idea what to expect you know what i mean he thought i had just abandoned the whole project altogether so i thought it was like brilliant for you to like not give any type of premise or any type of illusion to what you know your work what we're working on so yeah uh when you when you told me about that i was like that that story just came right to mind and i ended up getting 100 on it making the dean's list hey i got an ah [Applause] yeah but the story tomorrow i mean it's a neat little story it really is uh i mean i i i i want to tell you about it but yeah so and the reason why i brought it up is uh so my parents were asking about it like what is this shoot you know how my mom you do my mom's voice damn it dammit what is this shoot for damn it exactly just shoot for are you done with bro nope she didn't bring in a roll on it i can bring it rolling around yeah are you bringing him rolling no bob roll no he stays at home yeah in the studio he's in california and he's staying in california because if he comes to texas he'll just [ __ ] texas up right yep and speaking of roland and uh also stream yard who's our platform thank you for finally fixing after uh 12 episodes fixing whatever the bug was between the two companies that didn't want to work and now everything seems to be working good right right um yeah so anyway so going back to that my parents were asking me about the project and i literally after reading the script only once i repeated literally from the beginning to the end and i was like damn them smart pills they paying off bro i want to know where you're getting these smart pills from they're my uh in the the the cabinet downstairs the kitchen no i don't know where that is i know this guy has lived here for how long and still doesn't know where the silverware is [Laughter] hey devon where's the silverware [ __ ] clue i finally just said you know what i'm not telling you where anything is you're gonna have to just figure [ __ ] out on your own yeah i keep trying to convince him to do uh the dishes that way he's gonna have to learn where to help no no because what he'll do is he'll just throw [ __ ] randomly in a random place and then i'll be like there's an hour trying to find where the [ __ ] did he put this no i wouldn't do that i'd be like well i know it's not up there no it's not up there no it's not up anywhere high i don't know no no it's gonna so you're making fun of me being short yeah because i i don't think you know where the [ __ ] ladders are either i know where the [ __ ] ladders are little bat do little short [ __ ] well at least you didn't call me a little short [ __ ] [ __ ] oh yeah that's right that's what it was that's my strategy see i didn't even have to look that up you did good man i was proud of you i even forgot i'm the one who originally said it right [ __ ] so uh so now now that we've talked about that now we gotta give the audience the backstory the backstory of what of where that saying came from and how i how you came to use it and what you're using it in and all that jazz uh so we were talking about uh one of the restaurants that i opened um helped open or whatever um one of the managers there and uh i described him as a little short [ __ ] [ __ ] there you go and so patrick goes wait i'm going to write that down like what do you mean you're going to write that down he's like i'm going to use it in my story i was like oh my god yeah i wanted to use it in this story because i i think that's pretty good so then patrick and i said what he said well so he proceeded to uh add it to his story and then he uh let me read it after he finessed it a little bit and i was like wow that sounds pretty good i was like damn that does sound pretty good all right that's cool it works perfect with the script so yeah and there's there's other little quotes that you set in there too i know i can't wait yeah that it that's a good that's a good one because i mean that one personality that one personality that that that actress has you know i mean wait is this a female version of me like what the in this movie why in the hell would i write a female version of gaylord of gaylord [ __ ] i would never do that hold on my ankles yeah i don't blame you it would sell 0.0 copies i tell you what if kayla's here i mean kayla are you still here if you are uh we need roll call we need you front and center yeah kelly's still here oh she said we have new orleans uh new orleans she said new orleans we have a a river walk we were talking about uh beach walks and all that oh yeah she's here okay she's here okay okay well uh the story that i'm writing is uh pretty much based off kayla the oh does she know this she does now she does now and she goes back can't give me evie i don't have multiple personalities you don't depends on which personality is out right now oh she'll probably come back to me and she'll slap me in the face that's okay if she does she's going to use it because i'm just kidding she's going to use the same hand that she waved with right right kayla and i'll probably tell her is that all you got ah just like you told the principal yeah and she's uh i hope she's sitting there laughing knowing knowing that i'm just messing with her [ __ ] now we get more phone calls thanks patrick are you getting a phone call now no i'm [ __ ] with you [Laughter] no i'm i'm just messing with her i mean she's she she's fun to mess with you know yeah i know and everything so oh i said it and everything but that's my first one that you think really damn it okay all right next uh next up next up they only get multiple when a multiple [ __ ] makes it comes out so wait you got i shot multiple [ __ ] so i should major i should make this about kayla and devin well since the last podcast you were supposed to be a therapist nobody wanted to give their uh dirty secrets [Laughter] oh okay with the smiley happy face uh crying emoji uh well she shouldn't be crying you know about looking you know one two punches today yeah because see you know what if i didn't it it's like it's like the people i used to work with if i didn't pick on you yeah i you know i i i wouldn't like you right exactly i don't like you if i didn't pick on you or whatever yeah we'd just ignore you if we didn't if we didn't like you you would definitely know well that's true make it painstakingly obvious oh yeah she says she's just kidding oh huh yeah we know she's just kidding amy's kidding all right going back to our uh regularly scheduled news okay yeah let's go back we got so we've conquered uh texas local we've conquered the u.s news and now we're going to slide into world news with devin g hurt um train hits truck that slid onto the track in taiwan and killing 51 people try saying that 15 times fast jesus what oh train hits truck that slid on the track in taiwan killing 51. i said it yeah now you gotta say it 11 more times but uh train his truck that slid on the track in taiwan and kill him 51. train his track nope see you yeah you gotta you butchered it on the third one we should not be joking about this story oh we shouldn't that's sad man no it's it's uh bad and uh with the cancel culture like you were mentioning earlier with nike and h m and all that stuff uh you know taiwan has kind of been uh in the news and now with this uh train sliding onto the track killing 51 people like it was so bad like people had to climb out of the windows and walk across the top of the train in order to get out and to survive oh kind of like the wild west sure yeah when they were trying to rob the trains exactly all right go ahead um so yeah so it kind of makes you wonder like safety protocols and stuff you would think that like they would have some kind of sensors on the tracks that would recognize if something is on them before you know a train or you know arrives so i don't know if that's gonna if this is gonna change some safety laws if there's gonna be some new type of uh implementation onto the tracks if i'm willing to develop it build it design it i mean there's always a solution so they should make it they should make it like the the swisher train down there the who the squisher train or the train that goes on swisher yeah how so that when you know when the train is about 10 miles away the arms come down well the problem with this is the truck actually slid down a embankment onto the track oh okay yeah yeah okay okay yeah when i first read it too i thought maybe there to your point that it was like in a crossing no this thing actually slid down an embankment onto the track that sounds like somebody in florida yeah really for real probably was floored driver we'll find out later now here's probably from china oh geez and the uh last story in the news i figured i'd throw some you know kind of a curveball in there video shows an octopus attack a man on australian beach that's kind of like that can you explain that to the hospital uh yeah i got my ass beat by a [ __ ] octopus that's kind of like that damn alligator thing argyle should we sell our house [Laughter] should we sell all of the beach to get away from the octopuses well what part of or octopized what part of australia uh the big part dude that whole damn continent is big for real see what everybody learned something today the millennials they learned that australia is a continent from good old sprouty yeah yep that's number three yeah you know i wonder if it was bondy or uh bondi beach where which one was blondie bondi oh i thought you were talking about blondie now you know where bondi beach is no i don't know where it's at it's in north australia near keynes oh okay okay doesn't you've been australia right or no no i haven't okay it's on my bucket list and and my thing is is that i think that after i go i've always wanted to go to australia new zealand and my thing is is that if i go to australia new zealand i come back i'm dead uh i don't want to go to australia right now dunsborough australia which is apparently i guess western australia okay so i never went down the west coast i went all i went from the southern uh east of australia and traveled all the way to north to the dunsborough or dumb squirrel should be dumbs burr but it is done do you win oh okay sorry i'm really stuffed up tonight gosh i should have taken more allergy medicine yeah you can take a benadryl so you'll sleep later yeah that's true i'm definitely gonna need one yeah you're gonna need one of those um so you were talking about your bucket list australia yeah australia is on my bucket list so is uh new zealand but i have the feeling that if i end up going uh-huh that yeah when i come back that's it what do you mean that's it that's it for me like you just lived your complete life you're just gonna or what are you no back there or what are you gonna what do you what do you mean that's it gone see ya bye in the next life okay because you fulfilled your bucket list you're like that's it that's it all right so i'm kind of avoiding australia and new zealand that makes perfect sense so uh when you're 99.99 and i'll be one of the old guys in a wheelchair with a napkin over my knees telling [ __ ] kids get the [ __ ] out of my yard you know no no no no and then you'll no no no no no i'll still sound like your mother the [ __ ] out of my yard i should go ahead and record that and then and well would we have mp3s when i'm like 90 years old uh well they've already switched from mp3 to aac which is the new okay well aac yeah all right and then which not to be confused with the american airlines center so and then we'll just go ahead and you know i'll just play the song yeah no no no no if you're gonna walk in my yard you're gonna mow it there's mower here's weed eater [ __ ] have at it yeah you know what dude we don't want to do it okay next time we're going to do that when somebody rings a damn doorbell like the other day we're going to grab these cameras we're gonna go outside i have you film it i'm gonna make those guys do the artwork and we're gonna film it that's not gonna work because they're gonna like you know tell you to fu hey well if they do it'll be great content either way yes sir and hey if they actually do it that's less work i gotta do no [ __ ] all right so do we have everything ready for tomorrow batteries mine are charging they're already charged i think we have all the tripods do we i hope so do we have a [ __ ] shot list [Laughter] hold on let's see it or it does not exist it exists wow look at this ladies ladies and gentlemen we now have a shot that's good i just don't have the script oh jeez no i gotta print out skirvin a minute it's okay i gotta um i gotta load the shot list and then i'm gonna load the um script onto both ipads you got your ipad too your ipad i lost it i don't know where it's at are you [ __ ] serious yeah oh [ __ ] i don't know i have no clue where is that because i i was looking for it because i wanted to use it yeah and i have no clue where i put it yeah because i gave you the apple pencil for your right right i know you did i know but yeah you know what but that's okay because i mean i'll just go old school and just write it on paper like misty does you know what's funny it reminds me of uh my old boss at 18 t directv um wanted everything printed oh really and like every time i did these reports and stuff i had to create print files for them and then i had to print them they were this freaking thick and i'm like going that's just a weak report it was like at next week so i go and then here's the best part so i told him i go hey you know he's kind of one of those old school like just stuck in his print ways whatever i said so uh can you tell me what happened uh january 31st at 11 p.m in um columbia yeah he goes hold on and he's pulling all these little damn papers and i go and i pulled up my phone right and i showed him i go look it took me 10 seconds i go oh wait it didn't even take me 10 seconds it took me two right but yeah then he was like i go i'm trying to get you into the 21st century so you don't ever have to use paper so when i started with them everything was uh excel spreadsheets and everything was printed everything was manual i was like oh my god my goal is to get you in the 21st century i did that's good eventually that's good hey when you can convert an entire continent that's that's that's what's up right there that's good because i don't know if you know this or not but south americans are uh very um stubborn well that too but they're very stubborn very stuck in their ways so they're used to doing things a certain way and trying to get them to deviate and i realized this the hard way because what i first built and what i had to gradually work up to yeah because i couldn't go from here to here i had to ramp it up right but yeah that was that was definitely an experience and i realized that um and you know what's funny is i should have learned something from the ron johnson days at jcp when he tried to change the entire company overnight you remember that right when he rebranded the whole entire logo and then he decided hey i'm gonna put a store inside of the store and i'm gonna get rid of all the products that we used to have why overnight he did this and here's the [ __ ] up part what it wasn't fast enough he literally did this [ __ ] overnight and it wasn't fast enough for him and it wasn't enough stores and it wasn't just it was like dude you forgot about your core audience you forgot so i learned a lot about what not to do in business from all of these executives and all these people that have made major cluster [ __ ] of uh companies huge companies you know billion dollar companies and it's like just because you're a ginormous company doesn't mean you make smart decisions and that you can't fail and uh i think a lot of these companies are going to finally realize that you know hey you're not too big to fail right so that's my uh moment of clarity moment of clarity that's our business section because we have no business news today because we were in a hurry so i figured i'd throw that in there aspect stock markets were closed so yeah stock markets were closed so i can't really uh talk really too much about business because there's no business going on really oh the the unemployment rate went up that's no surprise but hold on there's a catch to that oh what [Laughter] well can you let me can you guess what the catch is going to be not a clue so the uh lowest paid people have the highest percentage of unemployment of course they do right and the highest paid people have the lowest numbers of unemployment right it's because all of these stimulus and everything else has helped the middle to upper class and not really help the lower lower class and then you know obviously with the shutdowns and all the stuff and a lot of the lower income brackets are in the service industry and other industries that were hit the hardest and a lot of the places that they used to work no longer exist right yeah so it's kind of a yeah it's a stat but at the same time it's a very skewed stat if you break it down that's why i love data yeah you break it down to its uh you know granular level um it's messed up hey did you hear uh oregon is going through their for their fourth surge no i didn't yeah oregon's going through their fourth surge and they're uh talking about um they're talking about shutting some organ down really i just saw a glimpse of that oh did you yeah i didn't read too much into its organ you know it's it's funny that you mention that because um you know i read an article about the uh texas and how we were one of the first people to lift the mask mandate and how uh everybody was surprised that you know the rate of kovid really didn't spike as much as it did in the past um they thought that because it was a free-for-all that you know um that the level of covet and everything else was going to go through the roof but what was interesting in the article is that just because they lifted the mandate it the fact that and you've mentioned this and you've saw this that there's been lots of people going places that actually are still wearing their mask you know um and it's i think that's what really has helped you know keep the spread of infection and everything else right yeah i know i mean because that was one of the things i'm still going i'm still going for may still going for me we're still on record that we're gonna shut down yep i'm still going for may anytime in may i didn't give a date any time in may hey so speaking of i just see it coming man so what do you think about the whole florida thing where um basically the governor said that you can't make it mandatory to show a vaccine card to um for businesses and establishments and that sort of stuff and for travel what do you what do you think about that do you think that because there there's talks about making a passport that's almost that's all that's what i was going to say it's almost like i'm making a passport so you can have it so your enter so you can enter in any all the states and i mean it's like it's it's let me ask it's a control thing so well what do you think about that because i got i have a my thoughts but i want to know i want to understand what yours are first before i all right go ahead no no i want to know what yours are before i i already have mine i want to hear what you're saying oh i thought you i know i thought i thought you were going to talk first no no i know what my thoughts are i want to know what yours are it's part of listening well yeah i know but i already know what's going on in my head i wonder what's going on in yours take a trip through my mind you'll see that i'm [ __ ] up that's what i'm trying to do trying to enlighten the audience no you'll never nobody will never know i mean there's a couple people that know but you'll never know all right so what do you think going back squirrel um yeah i know to the passports and having um proof of vaccination for travel what are your thoughts i don't i don't think it's a it's like what i said it's a control thing that's what they want to do is they want to control us you know what i'm saying so okay hollywood controllers right we're just like elaborate on that i mean it's like we gotta have a passport to go from florida to freaking georgia but that's the government controlling us but that's the government you gotta have you gotta have you gotta have a passport to to freaking go to kansas i mean who the hell wants to go to kansas i don't know but i mean still it if it's international it's a little different but within our country no i'm going to tell you what i'm going to do on devin's island you've got to have a scorecard you've got to have your sct shot records you're you're gonna have to have your vaccination records you're gonna have to have all sorts of forms of id jesus christ you're making it sound like it's gonna be a [ __ ] nude island man you never know what happens island stays on devin's it's kind of like vegas right it is it's a truck on devon's island stays on it's a tropical vegas that won't happen because hey whatever happens in vegas doesn't stick believe me yeah tell that to my nine-year-old yeah you're nine-year-old i'm just [ __ ] yo all right no um why do you think i said let's have a bar in between our islands so that way it's in international waters that way we're not bound by it yeah planning ahead yeah you know what casino welcome to sprouty island over there is devon's island y'all don't want to go over there it's [ __ ] up devin's the president i'm the president here whatever the hell y'all want to do uh if y'all want to cross the island uh we're gonna need to see uh three forms of id we're gonna have to have five references and we're gonna have to have your vaccinations we're gonna have to have your uh firstborn we're gonna have to have your uh see that's screwed up man because all they have to do is come off the boat scan their eye all they have to do is finger they just need to slide this little finger we can use this finger right here oh sorry this finger right here eye retina yeah and give me your dental record just in case you disappear yeah that way we know uh you know well i mean all i'm gonna have them do is uh they just need to insert this little tiny sliver into their skin and uh this little barcode and put it right on their forehead okay so uh why are you uh planning to have personal relations with your uh visitors what why are you planning to have personal relationships yeah i knew that would wait who's having personal relationships is quiet who's having uh personal taylor wants to know man and she said and a side of the jj oh my god that is not included on devon's island thank you very much i didn't say anything about promiscuous activity in fact i said you have to prove that you're not a dumbass you were to come on to my eye you're not a new moss you have to okay you know what on my island yeah you have to prove that one you're not an [ __ ] yeah well [ __ ] we're gonna get kicked off your own damn island no you're gonna be like steve jobs kicked out of his own [ __ ] company okay you have to prove that you're not an [ __ ] you have to prove you're not a dumbass so who's going to be carrying you out [Laughter] and you got it kurti and you got to prove uh you got to prove that you're you know you have a little bit of common sense so that cancels everybody out and uh in in the us yeah you know i'd say probably about eighty percent the cancel that's a hundred percent of millennials we're gonna get we're gonna cancel sprouties all and we're gonna cancel devon [ __ ] yeah well go ahead you ain't getting on the [ __ ] island anyway dude i don't give a [ __ ] is something that you're not a part of [Laughter] that's the great thing about owning an island you get to [ __ ] say and do whatever the [ __ ] you want yeah i'm bound by some [ __ ] so i was wondering uh and the only [ __ ] you're bound by is one in a bathing suit versus a [ __ ] three-piece suit what and then kayla says so i was wondering if uh you're planning to have sexual relations during a tour guide damn that must be on kayla's island because there's no mention of tour guides with sexual relations there's nothing no nobody said anything about it on sprouties island or devon's island see this just goes to show how women take things a little too far like we just talked about we're testing for stds because we don't want no pacific auto leads on this [ __ ] island that's all we're just looking out for everybody in case somebody does decide to hook up we don't want babies born with three [ __ ] legs and [ __ ] five eyeballs i was born with three legs yes i was i and we will call it mount d no where do you think mountain dew came from it's the dew from my d [Laughter] private placement oh jesus no she says we're so dang lost no we're not we're right here in the podcast i don't know where you are sometimes we should smoke some weed and come on the podcast hey dude what's up you know but no i mean devin's uh or not devin's islands probably allen sounds good say uh kayla said i only said that because you said std test required i was going out out the box the problem was you were going out the box but you were talking about the box she was going do you see me laughing yes i see you laughing internally and it's killing you right now no it's not i know no no no no no idea is stupid that's okay i got more of them besides i was completely kidding i'm not gonna be doing that you notice i said i was gonna slide something under your scene and put a barcode on your forehead no you didn't mention that you only stuck to that no all we have to do is just wait wait here in the united states and they'll end up doing that [ __ ] right yeah i mean that's pretty much the next step right yeah i got a burp well thank you for sharing that was fake damn i had it wasn't fake it didn't have uh oh oh wait so going back to before we went on this okay bill what what started this whole thing i said what was your ideas on the card requirement for travel i already said it okay so i'm going to tell you mine now oh like yeah we swirled again welcome to our podcast look a battery [Laughter] sorry quick lap or a quick offer come on now sorry my bad i got choked up you got you got covered so uh probably um so they make it mandatory for uh kids to have their vaccines and you have to prove that you have your vaccines before you can go into school right i think so so why would it be any different if you going into into a country i think you should have proof of your vaccines i think you should have proof that you're not uh going into any other country correct okay yeah but i mean we were asking me about what about what no i wanted to know your thoughts and i'm talking about you were asking me about where my about the states you don't need a [ __ ] passport to get into the states well you're going to have to see what on patrick's island on patrick's island you're going to need it you're going to then and then so you're going to have states in your patrick island yep oh [ __ ] i'll have states in my patrick island are they going to be on my patrick island what are the state's names going to be i'm just dying to [ __ ] know dumbass [ __ ] [ __ ] quad waffle oh i want a [ __ ] house waffle sorry for the language people i don't care yeah no [ __ ] were given that's right that's why we're the fu podcast so what providence do you live in uh patrick's island dumbass [Laughter] oh man i can't wait for the street names [ __ ] pops up on [ __ ] road uh i think that's pretty good most people probably don't but you know i'm to the point i'm retired i don't give a [ __ ] nah you know and that my friends is why we have a podcast that's right exactly yeah yeah all right so without much further ado should we uh call it a night because we got oh wow it's 9 20. yeah and we've been uh that went that fast 14 minutes i know it was considering we literally just pulled the news 30 minutes uh before the podcast and uh totally flying by the seat of our pants yeah and we were only supposed to do like a 30 minute podcast but now we're an hour and 14 into it yeah we need to yeah we need to get our [ __ ] ready yeah we need to get the lenses ready we need to get the cameras consolidated and oh my god all right that's just i don't know i'm thinking about it i'm like oh god we're just gonna [ __ ] work [Laughter] [ __ ] what did i get myself into on [ __ ] easter weekend um it's okay you know god much rather have us doing something we love to do that is true you know make yourself happy yep and as long as you as long as you pray you read or whatever on easter sunday you're all good that's how i look at it well everybody speaking of which you all have a wonderful uh easter weekend and be safe and thank you for tuning in we appreciate you love you all and have a good night i'm just kidding except for you no i'm saying that you don't have a good night what i'm just kidding but anyway okay love you guys all right see y'all adios see you monday when uh we'll have our guest andy back in the studio all right really yeah okay see y'all every monday yeah later later
